I feel like my purpose here on earth is not to be a great golfer, but to use my platform to hopefully help and inspire others.

~ Wyndham Clark

Every Sunday Wyndham Clark reaches past his usual play uniform and dons a shirt of the softest pink in remembrance of his mother. Lise Clark placed the first bucket of golf balls in front of Wyndham when he was three years old and encouraged his play throughout his youth and early career.

How it Started

A dynamic woman, Lise Clark grew up in a military family in Albuquerque. She studied in Las Cruces and represented her state as Miss New Mexico. She met and married Randall Clark and they started a family. She was an engaged and encouraging mother as well as an accomplished businesswoman.

“She was kind of my rock and my always-there supporter,” said Wyndham. “So when things were tough or when things were going great, she was always there to keep me grounded and either bring me up or keep the high going.”

A decade later, Wyndham is fulfilling his mother’s prediction that he would be successful in Golf. His play skyrocketed during the past year to a career-high ranking of #3 player in the world. He continues to wear pink on Sundays to celebrate his mother and to raise awareness of breast cancer, the disease that took her life.

In early 2024 Wyndham created the Play Big Foundation to support women and families impacted by breast cancer.

My mother told me “Play Big Wyndham. Play for something bigger than yourself.” This motto has become a cornerstone for how Wyndham approaches the game of golf and his life.

Through the Play Big Foundation, Wyndham desires to share his love for the game of golf and make play more accessible for youth through programs, scholarships, and other opportunities.

“I feel like my purpose here on earth is not to be a great golfer, but to use my platform to hopefully help and inspire others,” he said.
